Valerie AnneHARRIESValerie sadly passed away on Tuesday 14th May at University Hospital Wales, aged 93 years. Devoted mother to Paul and Ceri. Loving Grandmother of Catrin, Elizabeth, Lowri, Andrew, Thomas, Morgan and Owen. She was a wonderful Mum and Nana and will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Resting at Green Willow Funeral Directors until the service to be held at St Peters Church, Dinas Powys, on Tuesday, 18th June at 2.00 p.m. Thereafter to Cardiff and Vale Crematorium for 3.00 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations to Ty Hafan, Children's Hospice, Penarth. Any enquiries to Green Willow Funerals, 21a Station Road, Dinas Powis. Tel 02920 514627

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Valerie, please accept my sincere condolences from all of us here at Tŷ Hafan. Valerie was a very special person and we can see from your Tribute page they were dearly loved by all of their family and friends. They will be missed. 

At Tŷ Hafan, the diagnosis of a life-shortening illness turns everyday life upside down for families, leaving them facing a future that is so different to the one they imagined. Your generosity means they can receive the care and support they need. Thanks to you, they can create a lifetime of memories in the time they have together, just like your memories of Valerie. I hope that gives you some comfort during this sad time.
